Meet the Winners of the Inaugural Canadian Academic Entrepreneur Challenge

In 2021, DSA Canada and the DSEF launched the inaugural Canadian Academic Entrepreneur Challenge. The Entrepreneur Challenge, a contest with the goal of encouraging entrepreneurial thinking, tasked teams of post-secondary Canadian students to imagine a unique product and outline an innovative sales plan, utilizing the direct-to-consumer channel. The Entrepreneur Challenge is helping DSA Canada to make important connections with academics and future entrepreneurial leaders.

In early 2022, the first winners were announced – Team Apeiro from Trinity-Western University in British Colombia. We are excited that members of Team Apeiro will join us on stage to discuss their winning entry and the value of initiatives such as this.
